Esther K. Le has over 24 years of experience in the dental field. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from New York University College of Dentistry and furthered her education at the University of the Pacific through the Program in Oral Health for People with Special Needs at the Pacific Center for Special Care. She also obtained her Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP) license.

Esther is specially trained and licensed by the Dental Board of California to administer dental anesthetics, perform soft tissue curettage, provide nitrous oxide sedation, participate in the Virtual Dental Home model, place interim therapeutic restorations, and make radiographic decisions.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages, including individuals with special healthcare needs. Esther has volunteered in free clinics, providing preventive care in underserved areas and delivering oral health education to communities. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of dental care and understands that many individuals experience dental anxiety. With compassion and patience, she helps guide patients toward improved oral health. In addition, she has built strong professional relationships with a network of dentists to ensure her patients receive comprehensive treatment when needed.

Esther formerly served as Director of Field Operations for one of the largest non-profit dental organizations specializing in pediatric dentistry throughout Orange County. Following a merger, she transitioned into the role of Director of Outreach and School-Based Programs at one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), where she continued and expanded the mobile and community-based dental programs she previously led.

Across these leadership roles, Esther oversaw teams delivering dental services in elementary schools, junior high schools, community sites, and pediatric medical clinics through innovative care models including teledentistry, mobile dental programs, telehealth, and medical–dental integration in non-collocated settings. Her work has consistently focused on expanding access to care for children and families, including those with special healthcare needs.

The pediatric dental non-profit organization’s mission was to improve the oral health of children in Orange County through collaborative programs centered on prevention, outreach and education, access to treatment, and advocacy. After the merger, her work continued under the FQHC’s mission of eliminating healthcare disparities and promoting health equity by removing barriers to care. Through these combined efforts, thousands of children and families received essential dental services who might not otherwise have had access to treatment.
